Refund Policy

How cancellations and refunds work for EkoHacks workshops, training and Dojo subscriptions.

Last changed 22 August 2026. See every change.

1. Who We Are

This Refund Policy is issued by EKOHACKS OÜ, a company registered in Estonia.

  • Registered name: EKOHACKS OÜ
  • Registration number: 17182181
  • Registered address: Järvevana tee 9, 11314 Tallinn, Estonia
  • Contact email: connect@ekohacks.com

It sits alongside our Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

2. Workshops and Training

You may cancel a workshop registration by emailing connect@ekohacks.com. The following terms apply:

  • More than 14 days before the workshop: Full refund.
  • 7 to 14 days before the workshop: 50% refund, or you may transfer your place to another person at no additional cost.
  • Less than 7 days before the workshop: No refund is available, and you may transfer your place to another person.

If we cancel or reschedule a workshop, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another scheduled workshop.

A course seat bought online follows the same terms, counted from the first session of the course. Before the course begins, you may also simply change your mind within 14 days of payment for a full refund, no reason needed.

3. Dojo Subscriptions

The EkoHacks Dojo at dojo.ekohacks.com is sold as a monthly subscription.

If you are unhappy with the Dojo, email us within 14 days of a charge and we will refund it in full. You do not have to give a reason. This applies to your first charge on a plan and to every renewal after it.

You can cancel at any time from your profile, under Manage billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and it does not renew after that. Your account returns to the free plan and your history stays.

The full terms are on the Dojo refunds and cancellation page.

4. Who Takes the Payment

Dojo subscriptions and course seats bought online are sold and processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, acting as merchant of record. Paddle appears on your card or bank statement, issues your invoice, and is responsible for collecting and remitting sales tax and VAT.

Refunds are processed by Paddle and return to the card you paid with, normally within five to ten working days.

5. Failed Payments

If a subscription payment fails, Paddle retries it over several days and emails you. Your access continues while that happens. If it ultimately fails, your Dojo account returns to the free plan, your data stays, and you can subscribe again at any time.

6. Your Statutory Rights

If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have a legal right to cancel a purchase of digital services within 14 days. The 14 days refund described above is offered regardless, so you keep the same outcome either way.

Nothing in this policy affects your right to a remedy if a service is faulty or not as described. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/odr.

7. How to Ask

Email connect@ekohacks.com from the address you paid with, and tell us which charge. We answer within two working days.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Every change to it is listed at the bottom of this page, with the date and the exact text that changed, drawn from the history of the file this page is built from.
